Hi. I’ve been experimenting with Moves By Maxon for face capturing. Very exciting!
The face texture captured by the app is mapped to a generic face mesh within C4D. I’ve been trying to edit the UVs of the face mesh to better align the texture with the mesh features (ie, so the eyes and nose texture properly aligns with the model).
All fine, but as soon as I move the playhead the UVs reset.
If I check the ‘Single Frame Texture’ option, then the edited UVs stick, which is great.
However, when I then re-open the file, the edited UVs are lost again!
It’s like the Face Capture Object re-generates the UVs each time it opens. Is this correct?
Does anyone know how I can edit the UVs of the face capture object and get them to remain?
