I have a model of a shark, which has a UV, but for some reason (I think it’s a complex mesh issue) I get a line going through my texture when I create the texture image from the polypaint in ZB. If I create a new UV’s (GUVTiles), it exports the texture fine. The problem is the original source file in Cinema is already weighted and animated. I just want to update the textures and normal maps. I was hoping if ZBrush exported out the same UV used texture, I can just updated. But sadly not.
So..can I export the actual model and textures out of Brush, then, since it’s the same model -(no mesh tweaks were made in NZB) is there a way import the new model, copy the UV and paste it onto the old model?
If not, what would you recommend?
