How to do a Handwriting Animation

Hi Dr. Sassi,

I would like to create a handwriting animation like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbMX20YoNTw (It does not have to be like in this video, but I would like a cursive effect to the handwriting animation)
Is there a way to do this? I would like a method that is easy to re-customize (like change the text pretty easily)
