user data, right click doesn’t reset to default value

Just something which has always bugged me, right clicking the side bit of user data like a float/percent/int etc. doesn’t reset it to the specified default value, but to 0. Instead you have to right click the field then click reset to default.
I’m just curious, its by no means a massive problem..
