How to Make Objects Stick Together

Hi Everyone,

I am relatively new C4D user, and I am stuck on what I think should be a simple problem.  I have a fracture object (created with Thrausi) that mimics cracked rock.  I want blue spheres to rain down on the fracture object and flow through its cracks.  In those cracks I plan to place red spheres.  I would like the blue spheres to stick to the red spheres when they collide.  This animation is to illustrate chemical reactions that take place in shallow soil.

So far, I have tried two methods to no avail.  I have created a cloner with soft body dynamics that is then linked to an emitter.  This works great for getting the blue spheres to flow through the cracks in the fracture object.  I can’t, however, seem to get the blue spheres to then stick to the red spheres when they collide.

I have found numerous tutorials that suggest that this should be done through Thinking Particles.  But when I set up a Thinking Particles emitter, I can’t get the TPs to flow through the cracks of the fracture object.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
