Rotating objects [around two points]

Hello,

Now that I have been learning C4D and creating shapes I have some question on manipulating objects. I have Googled and looked at Youtube videos but cannot find anything specific.

When you add the Isohedron platonic, it appears to be on its side. I want the shape to be upright similar to the attached scene. However I found myself tweaking and fine tuning the rotation a lot. What is the recommended way to perform the following steps:

1. Set Isohedron platonic so it is perfectly upright like the attached scene.
2. Rotate the shape 180 degrees so it spins on its Y axis. When I tried this initially, because the shape was not perfectly upright, you could see a slight wiggle as the top and bottom points of the platonic were not directly aligned. So when the shape completed its 180 degree turn you could see it jump back to the start. Does that makes sense?

The reason to spin the shape 180 degrees is that I can loop this so it appears like it spins 360 degrees.

Also, while I am here, some quick camera questions smile

1. Is there a way to move the world center to the center of a selected object?
2. If you have an active camera view enabled. Can you copy this to the view port camera? So that when you click the icon that disables the active camera in the object manager, the view stays the same in the view port (default camera)?

Sorry for the multiple questions but I want to ask them while they’re fresh in my head smile

Thank you,
