Op Art effect

Hello
I’m thinking about the best way to create an effect like the image below.
Playing around with displacements in After Effects as a texture right now, but wondering if there is a way to do this in C4d directly as it will end up being integrated in a scene and being able to tweak it in Cinema would be quite helpful (rather than re-rendering from AE).
